When I create dynamic locks, they are showing up in the render - as little purple blocks - they even have nice little shadows!! (The image below is a render, not a screen shot). Too weird for words. Whether they are turned on (green) or off (purple), they render as purple.


Also I cannot remove them. I click on the "remove" button in the 'Character Posing' panel and nothing happens.


Thanks to anyone with a clue.

Bummer. Looks like a bug. :(

There was a work around posted for the bones showing in previous threads back when 7.5 first was released. Maybe one of the older threads can help you out.

I'll forward the info on to the devs.

Btw, is this a VRay or Lightworks render?

Thanks, Jack. It's lightworks. I'm generally pleased with the quality - or was when working in V5.2. One thing I haven't tried yet is a re-install. I'll do that tomorrow and report back.

I don't think a re-install will help. This sounds like the bones showing up when modeling form Model-side bug.

I will have to create a macro that says "Thanks again, Jack." Your link (above) included a suggestion by Mr Bones referencing the 4D story tab, etc., but I recognized the panel. All I had to do was drill down one level in the Actor in the LE and the skeletin panel has a checkbox for 'show skeletin' and 'show locks'.


Unchecking both boxes makes everything work as it should - locks and skeletin show when they should and don't when they shouldn't. The only remaining problem is that the "Remove" button (in the settings panel) still doesn't remove the locks, but as long as I can turn them off and they don't render, it's OK for now.
