Thank you Caligari. I download the updated chapters, and the new videos
are really very helpful. The narrator speaks clearly and slow enough that I
can get it. It really helps me to see it demonstrated.

Thanks for the vote of confidence TZ.
We were hoping folks would find the updated chapters and vids useful. Hopefully more folks will comment on the changes and convince Roman that the extra bandwidth for the videos is worth it. |

Is this a new chapter from what I downloaded as part of the training package with tS7.51?
If it is new, where may I find the new chapter 3?
BTW, the training package video is very, very helpful. I would be lost without it. Seeing someone do something and explaining it while they are doing it, is worth a static picture and text multiplied by 1000^2. :) |

They sent me the files for chapters 1 and 3 on aug. 22. So if you bought TS before that, you might want to call customer service to ask for the files, I guess. |

The old PDF manual did not have any video tutorials linked inside it. The new PDF has links to video tutorials. Ch3 is workspace model tools, Tom did a few for Character rigging and for the Animation Editor chapters, physics chapter has a few as well. This style of manual is what we are hoping helps new folks to pick up on the tools. If you dl the files for PDF, the wmv files for the vid tuts end up in top level PDFman folder. Is over 70 vids all toll. It adds great amount to download size :)

I have to admit the videos you guys did are outstanding. Easy to follow, clear concise instruction, very good narration too. I give them 4 and half stars. Did I mention I like books....:rolleyes:
