I find that the point of view in model view is not tied to the workspace point of view, so I have placed a camera in the scene and let that determine the point of view for both model and workspace. That helps, but the two views are still not the same. They are close at normal lens FOV but at anything like wide-angle, the lens distortions are nothing alike and at telephoto, the aim is clearly different (which is causing the difference in wide angle lens distortions).

I thought to correct the aim using the "look at current object" in model and "look at selection" in workspace, but it turns out that "look at selection" in workspace doesn't work for camera, only for eye.

I have the bridge turned on.

Is there some setting that will make the view in model and workspace identical in both aim and scale? I'm trying to do matching renders in each which I can then line up as layers in photoshop, in order to combine some effects that are not possible with a single render, either in Lightworks or Vray.

Thanks for any clues.

The short and practical answer seems to unfortunately be no.

The only solution I've found is that you have to render both VRay and Lightworks from model side if you want them to line up. That does work without doing anything special though.
