Upon viewing the excellent video tutorials from the manual on Point Editing / Polygon Editing ... I see that the primitives are blue, but in tS751 (workspace) mine are gray.

I can see how to modify the color for selected or unselected mesh, but not for the 'solid' primitives.. (I notice shadows in the video too...)

Anyway my searches have been unsuccessful, and I wonder if someone could tell me how to modify the primitive color?

thanks :D

Apply a blue material to the object, TS remembers the material and future primitives you create will have that material.

Click the colour picker icon (eye dropper/squeeze pipet) to open up the Material Editor. Change the colour (or all the settings) to whatever it is you want. Any primitives created after this will have your new material unitl you change it again.

Edit: Rats, Jack beat me! (Note to self: hit 'submit' BEFORE making coffee)
