ok, i've been searching for days but just cant seem to find the truespace 101 tutorial......i'm going crazy here! can someone please help me out? |

Can't say that I've heard of that course, maybe some of the long time trueSpace users have.
There was a Website that had a similar title that trained on tS version 3, don't recall the exact title though.
What version of trueSpace do you have?

well i'm using truespace 6.6, and i heard of the tutorial somewhere on the truespace forums...the tutorial was created by 3d buzz... |

I believe I have the one you are looking for.. it is called trueSpace 101 and is an extensive introductory video tour of the interface, made by buzz3d.. I think maybe they have dropped it from their site because I just couldn't find it there nor on another site that was purported to have it. They had just revamped their site on December 3rd and perhaps removed it then.
trueSpace 101 was for trueSpace 6 and I think it was quite well done, and probably would be helpful even though you have version 6.6
Actually, if buzz3d have abandoned it (and had been offering it for free) .. perhaps I could offer it to Caligari for their archives? (I don't know the rules, so somebody will have to say if that's ok)
As a last resort, I can get up with you on skype or msn messenger, and send it to you.. Zipped, it is about 82Mb. It will take a while since not ftp, but you may find it's worth it. .... Alternatively you can contact buzz3d directly and ask them about it. ^_^

Yay trueBlue! that's the one I was talking about .. and I think it's probably the one f-y3k wants.
So it's on the Caligary site after all.. I just could not remember where I had got it and spent an hour searching diligently .. but obviously .. I didn't look in the right place :D |

By the way, I want to point out .. I searched our forums too, and it returned an answer of "101 is excluded from the search, as being too common" (paraphrase). Well, a search that doesn't include 101 is not so good... :p I keep stumbling across these unhelpful search parameters.. any possibility of improving that? (at least on our site?) ;) |
