 Hi


Can i load a different speech engine in to the facial annimator, unless i am missing something in the manual, it does not say.

After serching the web i have found many text to audio software packages, which have many different voices, these can be converted to wave file, which i gather would be compatable with Truespace

 Wav files work pretty good yes.

 I believe this is possible. You need to find what folder the text to speech editior is in, and see if some other version can work. You might have to resort to the trick of rename the speech editor temporary, and then rename the new one to the exact same name as the old name. Might even show up as a menu and you select which one, you just have to stick it in there first as its own name, and see if it will show up as an option, and if not resort to the name change, and see if it works at all. I think all the different text to voices at microsoft site will work, as they are the same as sam.
