Hi


Can anyone suggest a good text to speech software which can convert text to wav.files.

Thankyou Notejam for your the link to microsoft, but could not find what i needed.

Here's one that I use for short text clips which is freeware and a lot of fun. It is called "Say It!" and is produced by AnalogX.

AnalogX also makes other cool wav-oriented freeware and audio utiliities as well as some extremely powerful system utilities. All of their audio programs you can find at the following link:

If you find one that works, let me know. I finally found out microsoft has discontinued all voices other than the sam voice. So far the free voices I tried have not installed ok. FA does have a voice menu still, that should allow you to select the new installed voice. Then there is also a window to do this in windows xp under the control panel, and speech.

By the way, you can go to some of the web pages, and type in your text, and have a digital wave file recorder going, and capture the output that way. I use soundforge xp for this, and it works good as long as you start the recorder first, plus have the recording source set to what you hear in the audio mixer.

Then play back voice through FA in version 6. as wave file.
