Why is ME such slow? When I select the object and choose "ME paint object" command the system will be very very slow...u:mad: because of Bridge or Why?

OK...slow.

but If I would like to modify objects' materail 5th time during the work, it is very ambarrasing.

I think the RealTime render is too detailed because when I add an complex material to an object it will be slower than I would add a simple material...or I dont understand

Ya, I can confirm that. When applying textures in WorkSpace, I can expect a delay and often wonder if I even applied the texture.

What makes it worse, if I click again while the process is occuring - WorkSpace will crash.

This has been raised in another thread, and I believe it has something to do with the fact that the preview textures are rendered by vray. Hopefully, this will be resolved in the next update (along with the other vray issues).

One thing you could try is to turn the live preview off, which may make it quicker. I don't have problems with it crashing workspace, that sounds a bit weird to me.

It also has to do with levels of grouping. The deeper your Hierarchy the longer it takes. The object in my avatar takes 10minutes to apply a texture in 7.51... :(

So flattening your grouping with the MeshCollapse plugin will solve the problem, unfortunately that doesn't help if you plan to animate different parts of the model. To get around it in those cases, browse down into the group's hierarchy and paint single objects at a time.
