Seems simple but...

I'm using 7.51. I select a face (or face loops) from a Workspace cube object for example. When I click the normal sweep icon there is no movement. I've got the default normal sweep options in use.

Sweep and tip seems to work as I think it should . I'm working my way through the Player Recording and Mesh Editing tutorial which is using TS7. Does the tool work the same in both version???

Normal sweep uses a click drag motion. Sweep is a single click.

Let me know if that helps. :)

As Jack points out, the Normal Sweep is a different kind of tool from the other sweeps (sweep and tip). It is interactive and lets you "left click and drag" a face or selection of faces, and you can then just keep clicking and dragging to create different sweeps as you go.

Clicking the icon in this case simply activates the tool, but no sweeping will be done at that point, until you left click and drag to perform the sweep.

HTH!
