I trained as a Furniture Designer myself and furniture is a popular project on the Product Design course I teach where tS is used a great deal. There are good examples in the Student Projec thread and you could take a look at the Wooden Origami thread to see a little something I have been playing with... Still, Ikea only pay for the outright rights for a product...no royalties. Great if it flops (you already got your cheque) but a real bummer if your design goes on to sell like the proverbial Wii.....millions for them. I do believe they credit you as designer though so the exposure would be very useful...and lucrative?
