Here is tutorial on a quick rigging of the dino object. Just a few minutes. Not a detailed rig. Just super quick. 7 or so minutes total.

p.s. I forgot to mention in the tutorial below that while you are doing DYNAMIC POSING with your keyframing that turning on and off your locks is just a click on the lock to turn it on and off. For full locks it turns green or purple. This is so fast and interactive. For instance, real quick you can lock 3 legs on the ground and with a click on the 4th leg LOCK that will turn it on (another click turns if off). So, once a lock is set on a bone and you are in the POSING MODE you can interactively turn lock(s) on or off by just clicking on them. Huge workflow benefit.
