Hi all,

I am a very new user, but have managed to screw things up pretty badly. I have sent a crash report to support, but thought maybe someone here might know of a quick solution.

I was working on building chess pieces. Managed quite a bit and have saved scenes and objects along the way. The latest piece, a knight, was turning into a nightmare of bad geometry - although the overall shape was okay. I think I may have attempted to save the scene while I was in the middle of mucking around. Got a Truespace crash. Subsequent attempts to open Truespace all crash. I'm guessing since the application automatically load the last scene it is pulling in the bad file every time. Have rebooted and still have the same issue.

So, Truespace will not run at all. Anyone have some ideas on how to at least get the application to run?

Thanks,

DD

You can hold CTRL and ALT down as you double click on the program to open the start up panel and choose Use Default Configuration.

Failing that you can delete default.ctx and truespace.cfg (in the tS folder in the install directory) if you are using tS7 that is.

HTH!

TomG,

Thanks, that did the trick. I renamed (and since deleted) the default.cfx file and all is well.

Thanks again for the help.
