1. Where do I get this "offline renderer"?

2. How much does it cost?

3. With the offline renderer, can I change the render settings?

I assume you mean VRay - you get it from the Caligari shop. Click "Store" in the above header. US$299.

That's all there is apart from output to file from the realtime display or moving your models onto the modelside and rendering them there (using lightworks, dribble or virtualight).

Model side set it to VRay then it will appear (look at #2 in Kena's screen grab)

Nowherebrain, did you use the Package Manager to load the VRay 1.53 plugin?

The offline renderer available for the workspace is indeed V-Ray. It's offline as it is not real-time, in other words you have to sit and wait for it to finish rendering as it calculates things line by line, rather than just wait a second while the real-time image is written to disk :)

It costs $299. It has a very wide range of settings that can be adjusted, even more than the integrated (but Model side only) Lightworks renderer since V-Ray features things like caustics and GI, giving you even more features to adjust.

Remember the real-time renderer does have render settings too - bloom, glow, scene brightness, anti-alias and supersampling are all adjustable and affect the result of your real-time render.

HTH!
