Im Lord Midnight from the gameSpace forums, and a long time fan of the company.

I had been working on a project, but given that tS 7.6 is free to the public now, I'm considering releasing it in the same Manner. I am astounded by the generosity of the company, and thrilled that so many game developers and 3D artists will get a chance to use trueSpace.

With TomG's ok, I'll make my project available. Working on the project I found exactly why release dates are bad, and it will be done when its done is simply the best way to go. Life happens. I look forward to learning and working with you all.

Hi Lord Midnight, are you new here? I'm quite a newbie, even considering i've been a member of the Truspace forum for quite a long time. I thought I heard something on one of the forums here that gamespace was going to be discontinued:(. Is that true? Along with TS7.6 being free, i'm guessing that's why you came here.

I would say that since we now all use the same version of software (unless it is the user's choice) that we are all one big family now.
Nice to have you here Lord Midnight. Other game developers are also here as you probably already noticed.

yeah I already saw a couple of people I recognize. It's a small game ready content pack of some columns and urns. I had a terrible time getting them together, but I'm much closer to being done now, and my skills have improved a lot. I use gs/ts for a lot of things, it kinda ended up being like my multi-tool. I have several other pieces of software Ive gathered, an I like doing some things in them, but I find tS do be excellent for providng tools some of my more specialized apps don't have. Lately I have been using it for vertex coloring and conversions on a project Im on. Im making some meshes for a 3D nintendo DS game, and the app I was using to model them did not have vertex colors, nor did it have a few tools I needed. gameSpace was able to bridge that gap nicely. I always say, the more options you have the better. tS7.6 will be in my toolbox for years to come !
