I am a summer student working on developing 3-D workflow diagrams and flow charts as well as visuals for Business Processes at Alcoa, and I need to be able to export my drawings to a picture image that I can be placed in Powerpoints or Word Documents or even export to a Web Page format for viewing...

Is there a way to do that with the stock version of True Space 6.6 or do I need to get add-ons to do something like that? All I can figure out how to do is to export the drawings into a format that only True Space recognizes which does me no good.

Also, if there isn't a solution readily available for True Space 6.6, would the new version 7.6 be able to do that for me?

You can use the offline renderer in the Model side, or the real-time renderer in the workspace side, both built in to the tS7.6 you have (no need to get anything extra).

Note that rendering from a 3D application is what gets you a final image that you can use. Saving to a file actually saves the 3D scene itself, so you wont find image formats in the File -> Save As options.

You can render to formats such as BMP, PNG, and JPG, which will be easily imported into Word, Powerpoint, an HTML editor, etc etc.

You'll need to use the Render To File icons in the software rather than the File Save though.

HTH!

Thank you very much.... I have successfully exported both pictures and videos using the software now. I appreciate the timely response... although mine is somewhat delayed.

Not a problem, so long as you are up and running and getting the results you need, that's what counts!
