Worked through most things as I'm learning the interface (yup 'nother newbie). Sorry but the camera rotate and pan just are backwards to my expectations and I can't see where to change them. Yes, I looked in the manual and thought I'd chosen the right search words for the forum.
Manual is fine, but it's split into multiple pdfs. How do I search for something across multiple pdfs? I guessed where I thought cloth should be. Got that working just fine, but if I don't guess right, I don't want to open each section just to search.
Also scripting looks quite powerful. Yet when I found threads with links to resources it seems there just aren't as many scripts as I would have guessed. Are they hiding? I would think we'd have some cool ones for character rigs? I might try working on something simple (from something like "Stop Staring") if there aren't any.
Anyway having fun learning. Just wish my mouse navigation was inverted. Driving me crazy.

check /Widgets/Tools/View tools encapsulator in LE, inside are widgets for camera navigation. Enter them and you can customize everything. |

When searching from Adobe Reader in a PDF, you can choose to search a folder rather than a current document. Choose the folder where the manual is installed, and all references of your search term is found in all chapters of the manual at once.

Found the view tools and I've done some script tutorials. But at this point I wouldn't know what to change in the LE. I see the Mouse inputs, but right now it makes no sense to me.
I'm going to download Clintons constraint script and see how that works. Perhaps after I understand that and finish the script intro tutorial, I'll get a clue on the UI change.
