Hi again, I need to decide how I should animate my characters for a game i'm someday going to make (I was planning this for years now, and I am sill planning on making it). It's going to be sort of like "The Sims 2", with an anime/manga style though. I know this will be hard to make, but i'm up for the challenge. (I'm using Dark Basic Pro for the program itself). I want to have the user be able to choose and switch the different clothing textures on the body, different hair styles, skin colors, and female or male bodies.

Anyway, here's the decisions I have to choose from:

1. Animate the characters' pieces separately (head, and body, both unconnected - preferable IMO)

2. Animate the characters' pieces as a whole. (everything, including polygon hair, will be connected - not preferable IMO, because each item has it's own UV map, and once they are one piece in DBPro, then it will be next to impossible for me to program the part where the UV map that the user selects will be applied to the characters. Like I said, each item has it's own UV map.)

Can someone please help me decide?

Thankyou!:)
