how do i copy what i have in modeler to workspace?

how do i copy what i have in modeler to workspace? // New Users

With the bridge on auto, what you make in Model side gets moved to workspace "on demand" as necessary.


If you had the bridge off while loading something into Model side or while creating something in Model side, simply turn the bridge to auto, and if it needs to go to the workspace, it will.


You can force an update any time by turning the bridge to On, when data will be moved between the two sides constantly. At this point tS should ask you which side you want to synchronise from (since the two will be out of step if the bridge was off) - just choose Model and all contents of the model side will be moved to the workspace.

PS - it's good to think of the bridge as a literal bridge. If off, the bridge is closed, nothing can move from one side to the other, across a bridge across a chasm from old town to new city. If the bridge is open, then things can move from one side to the other from old town to new city. I made a video based on that metaphor many years ago, but never did get it released :) It's a good metaphor.

thanks tom. bridge did the trick. it's probably in the manual, but i've not read that yet ;)
