Hi there,

I am pretty new to Truespace and one question appeared concerning the option panel of the Extrude Tool. According to the manual I should be able to Add Cap To The New Patch and Stitch After Extrude, neither option is available (TS7.6), greyed out, respectively. Is there another setting that has to be activated before these options are available?

And one more question about converting Nurbs Objects into a Polyhedron, I have noticed

all the faces consist of triangles, I asume this is just the way it is, or is there a setting to get Quad faces? Or can I convert those triangulated faces into quads?

Thanks for your help.

You can change the Nurbs conversion settings by right clicking on the convert to Polyhedra icon. I don't remember the value to change but one of them makes it so that only the control cage gets converted. Then you could use that as the basis for an SDS object by adding a layer of SDS after converting it to polygons.
