With lighting changes, and maybe some material tweaks (a bit of a bump map here and there maybe), then they could look quite "realistic" (given that these things don't really exist anyway, you know what I mean ;) ). Although not so much with the larger type II. I had a type II universal television remote for a while until it broke. Worked well too.
