Hello everyone,

I have had TS installed for a while, but just this past week started trying to learn it.

The other apps. I use are Hexagon and Carrara. Worked with Blender and Wings 3d some and several others.

TS is some what different and seems to have many tool sets.

Don't know yet if I will make TS my primary modeling app. yet, but I think it will be a good tool to learn.

I will have many questions, so here is the 1st one.

I was checking out rendering yesterday. I rendered a simple image using IBL, the shadows were jagged is there a way to fix that and is there a way to soften the shadows and or blur the shadows of a light i.e. spot light, point light ect. ect.?

Hi Johnny,

Check your settings on supersampling and antialiasing

also make the shadow map of your light bigger. 1280 or higher for smooth shadows

You can also use HDRI, there is a tutorial here.

WOW Thanks,

TS renders much better than I thought.

I am still discovering TS.

The more I dig in the more I like it.
