Hi. I'm not sure if this is the correct term, but here is the idea:

How can I connect a curved face of one object with a rectangular one of another object?

Yep, on the workspace side, use the Form Polygonal Bridge tool under the Point Edit tools. It creates exactly what you show here. You need to have the objects joined together, either encapsulate in 3D or use Boolean Add with the objects not touching, then either select the face (or faces) or just activate Form Polygonal Bridge directly and select the face or faces, then point at the second face you want the bridge to go too (or again, faces).
