ohh, seems like posting images work. The last image was using Player's bloom effect, in this case I was experimenting with glow. This is all real time and looks better on my computer, especially moving it all around and seeing the reflections shift around.

This last image is a HDRI image in the background where TS7 is tone mapping image from .HDR format right in the player. This is just an experiment which hopefully will lead to something better.

Noko, how do you get the background image in the player?

He probably mapped it onto a plane.

brianalldridge is 100 % correct. Mapped onto a plane on this, the Player can read and display HDRI images in real time. I also used post processing in player as well.

I am also able to take V-cross or panoramic HDRI enviroment and map the 360 degree enviroment in real time in player. Will show once ready.

Though excellent for a realtime 3D preview, I'm not impressed compared to a software render. I wonder what can be done with tweaking and content (shaders?) which are specially created for the DX9 render engine. As I said in another thread, the 3Dmark 05 demo videos have blown me away.

That should very much be possible, especially if you can write some DX shaders for TS7. One of these days I hope I will be able to. The player interfaces with DX9, vertex and pixel shaders (custom) are all possible here and seeing stuff like 3dMark2006 should be possible and even better. The Player has just been born it will have to crawl first then walk and then run. Hopefully in a rather fast successions.
