Well sort of... Pretty sorry work on the beginning and I used Chris from the libary. Just wanted to see if I could animate stuff and see if I was enjoying myself.

Well, I enjoyed myself, just have to get a lot better. Sorry for the amateur look, I'm really a 3D newbie. :)

okay, here it is I hope.

My wife said "Hey, that guy dances just like you!!!" I was not amused. Good start though.

lol!

The moves were from an old 2D animation I had made of Ponca War Dance. I lost all the tribal music that went to it though. The dance was originally of an old Ponca warrior or Chief, I forget now. I made the 2D from a 8mm movie my grandfather had made of a visit to a Ponca event way back when.

Ah ha!!! So now I have an excuse. Whenever my wife comments on my dancing I can tell her it's just the Cherokee in me coming out.

Cool! thanks mrbones!

heh heh. The man that did the dance in the film was in his 90s, so he didn't move around very fast. At the time my grandfather took the movie, late 40s or early 50s, not sure... but would have put the old Ponca dancer's birth about 1850s-1860s time frame. So he was the real deal although a tad old. :)

I need to get my old movie film reels converted to CD, they are getting a bit crispy.
