Here is a license plate for my cartoon character Otto Pilot (pilot is pronounced Pehlow.) :)

I can see where I made a mistake on my texture, just figured out how to UV map, so I know to be more thorough, heh.

The screw heads are just half spheres. Not really happy with the shadow or whatever that is on the bottom.

2D snapshot of it.

Anyway my first object in trueSpace 6.6, where I used several tools with some degree of success. :)

Looks good so far; it took me a long time to figure out how to do a UV map.

Your doing well - getting to grips with UV can be really rewarding. When you understand how to use it you find there are lots of ways to work with textures - I often find myself having as much fun with textures as I do with the modelling.

Thanks all for the kind comments. :)

Of course, without all of you pioneers in the 3D world, I would not have the benefit of good tutorials and advice. Many thanks to those who are the pathfinders. :)

The plate looks good!

Now try creating the Porche it's attached to.....;)

I can't wait to see more of your work.
