OK - my Space Girl/Captain image is done now. Well, an image is never done, but this is done for now at least.

I wanted to do a strong woman in a space miltary uniform to counter all those well endowed space babes in bikinis that you see posted in other forums. I got some of my inspiration from reading a few of Robert Heinleins and David Webers books.

Done in tS7 using the VRay renderer - No postprocessing work done at all.

Very nice indeed, who ever thought of wearing a bikini in space anyway :p

Actually Heinlein seemed to have a liking for naked space babes IIRC - he may have enjoyed a good 'poser babe' or two. Who can forget the communal shower scene from Starship Troopers?.;)

I am sure however that he would certainly enjoy this Space Girl - I sure do! Well done. A fine example of what tS and Vray can do in the right hands.

And who can resist a pretty girl in a uniform?

Yes Heinlein was a bit of a perv as he got older. I do enjoy his earlier work though.

I was sort of going for a combination of the Cover art on the book Friday (http://www.vintagelibrary.com/scifi/rah/art/friday.jpg) mixed with the concept of the Honor Harrington character by Weber (http://www.baen.com/covers/067157793X.jpg).

My image looks nothing like either, but they were in the back of my mind as I was making it.

If we would have had communal showers, I never would have left the Army:)

Looks great by the way.
