Hello friends, It has been a long time since I participated in the forums, I am sad to say that I could not afford upgrading to TS7, so I got Hex2 and Carrara. I hope one day I can save the money to get TS7 but for now I am very happy with what I have. Good to see some nice work in the galleries, TS deserves the recognition.

This might sound silly but it is true! I got the tS7 update because I started a big coin jar when I first got 6.6. I had more than 2 thirds the money I needed by the time tS7 came out. I've bought several updates to programs this way over the past 10 years. (Currently I'm dedicating my coin jar to a decent digital camera for collecting my own texture maps!)

Just visiting eh? Thanks for stopping by and don't be a stranger. I have been using Hex for a wee while for some of my modeling and find it really nice to work with. Takes a bit of getting use to but has some nice features. Haven't tried Carrara though, any good?

Thanks everyone, I feel at home  Carrara is good, but I have yet to try it out in rendering mode, I am planning to do my modeling in hex and texturing and rendering in carrara. We will see. Now that we are on the subject, Is there going to be a gallery for this month? I been looking forward to it? It never take so long before.

Helllooo wizard, how are you, well I am pulling my hair out with hex, I guess the competition will be happy to know it is full of bugs. Since Daz bought over hex and carrara, carrara remains clean but hex is full of infested bugs. I am going crazy.

I wonder if that is their revenge for the $1.99 sale...;)

And yes, I did buy it too...:p

dont get me wrong, it is an amazing program for modeling. For texturing it can use another update or two.

But i been spending 2 days now and pretty much know what I am doing, so play with it and refer to the tutorials.
