Yeah, I know what you're thinking...not more of these.

Afraid so.

I am on vacation again so I get a little 'itchy' for more pig...enjoy.

Besides, this may be the last one with this mesh....

Dead?...no not these. Just stuck in a legal quagmire at the moment. Maybe they will still get published but in the meantime enjoy a few new ones;

Wow, that second one looks really nice. (The first one is good too, mind you.) Incidentally, did you know that the "Year of the Pig" just started according to the Chinese year system?

Tell me about it...I am in talks to get these published in Asia where, as you pointed out, it is year of the pig...talk about fate.

My optimistic side says I will be rich this year...unfortunately, copyright law says I probably won't....:o

To be honest these should be in the WIP section (as they are not quite good enough) but I know they just need a little tweaking to be right so I posted them here instead for your amusement...

Still, if I keep this up for a few more years Caligari will have no choice but to use him as a mascot...or eat him for breakfast!!

That Darth Vader is hilarious! XD

I hope things work out for you with the publishing, the world needs more of this sort of humour.

This morning I received a short form contract (basics before the details are finalised) fomr a distribution company in Singapore. It is primarily Video On Demand and digital distribution but there are contacts in TV/Animation and an option for print publishing. So, fingers crossed pepe could be just the thing for this year's Year of the golden pig...:)

For those who have stuck with this little fella, thought you might be interested to know where the whole book thing is heading.

Do you mean because holders of the rights to the original works might not be too happy about it/them? If so, wouldn't you be protected by the fact that they are quite obviously parodies?

American 'Fair Use' law might let me publish them but making money off then complicates things. My only real hope here is the fact that the asian market seems less strict about such things...we shall see.

Simply put, I posted an awful lot of images that a mobile company are considering for content. Who would buy a wallpaper they could get here for free? As well as other copyright considerations I decided to remove them.

Sorry...but I may post some new stuff as long as it is watermarked.

May I suggest two water marks.

The first one is for general watermarking

The second would be for the more porcine artwork. :D

Hey Splinters, I was looking through the gallery on the main page last night and I eventually realized that all the pictures I liked and was enlarging were all made by you. I really enjoy your work and your storybook style. You seem to have mastered lighting, composition, and conveying emotion perfectly.

Thanks a lot...I had thought this thread was long dead...:D

Have you looked at Buddy World yet? It features nearly all my work, in particular, the books I have made:

www.buddyworldbooks.com

Now you mention it, I really might have to start these again. I got a but fed up when cafepress.com (where I am selling Buddy World merchandise) withdrew the Chop with Orange picture as they claimed it infringed copyright??...Where?!?

Shame as it made a cool looking T-Shirt...:D

Oh, and feel free to subscribe...there is a lot of new stuff coming during the next few months!

For those interested, you can view the 'almost' full range of pepe posters here:

They will eventually be part of my site-but for now, I am not sure of the best way to do it. Would make great phone wallpapers...:D
