Hey everybody,

Here's a t-shirt I designed for a local radio station. They were doing a promotion for a Velvet Revolver concert. I used trueSpace for the back of the shirt. Here's the artwork for the back of the t-shirt.

Cheers!

The artwork is good, but it might be rather offensive to some folks

Looks great in my opinion. I like the snake's head- like he's ready to strike..
anybody offended by that better not be going to a rock concert.

Hey guys,

Offensive or not......that's the toned down version!

The radio station said "We want a Les Paul guitar with a snake wrapping around it. Behind it we want a hot girl surrounded by bottles of Jack Daniels. It's all got to be grayscaled too." I thought the booze bottles were a bit much so I left them out. I also raised the brightness level on the girl to remove some of the 'detail'. Overall the station really liked it.

When the radio station was giving them away outside of the show, girls were shredding them and turning them into those 80's metal style cut t-shirts leaving little to the imagination. There were probably over a couple thousand people wearing them in the venue. Just before VR came on stage the radio station patrolled the audience and randomly grabbed some folks to move them to the front row.

Here's the front of the t-shirt:

<Baffled> Difficult to see how almost ANY artwork can be offensive to folks - don't the folks have to choose to be offended by the artwork? The mere fact that some people are offended and some people aren't shows that it is a matter of choice - and if someone chooses to be offended that's surely their responsibility and not the artists!

Zac - classic Rock Art here dude - I love it, well done! Did you get paid for it? Even better if so!

You may be right but I can still remember the day when I was 13 years old and my Dad arrived home with the families first ever Stereo record player and a copy of Led Zepplin 3 which had just been released. I suspect that there are more parents out there who 'get' art like these t-shirt than perhaps you imagine Brian. After all I'm a parent!!
