I put some screenshots from tests and sketches inside. All done in the Player/DX9 Realtime Display.
I like to push the power of the current realtime technologie from tS7:

Impressive work as usual Marcel - and a good advertisment for tS realtime capabilities too. |

I am sooooooo glad I see the words "Beta Testing" next to your name! Keep trueSpace standards at the same level as your work! Great job!:) |

This is great work! Love your style Parva!
Is this a built in SSS shader or one you've made in the link editor?

thanks.

It's no SSS Shader. It's just a fake and one which works just in special cases (best use only with one light).
You find the Gooch2 Shader in the material library. It's a directX shader with 2 color components. A warm and a cold color (warm = lit by light, cold = faces in darkness). With finetuning of this 2 colors (or using textures instead of pure color) you can create nearly translucent effects.
Yes working in link editor is necessary but it makes fun... a bit like LEGO :) |

Hopefully in time I will share this thought. |

Always great seeing what you can do... very inspirational and educational. Wish I was as comfortable in the LE as you... it's still a mystery to me.

Can you render the realtime view out instead of a full render?
Cheers

Yes, although in most cases it won't look quite as good. See my RC Fan Car thread [here] (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=1002&page=88), at the beginning I was doing full renders, however towards the end due to high polycounts I was taking realtime player shots. |

A house where you can walk around (no, not for The Sims *g*).

And some first workspace pictures (texture resolutiions are low-mid res, I haven't a high end gpu :D):

Yes this is the size place a "Parva" would live! Very nice detail work too. |

I am big fan of brass. That door knob is a beauty, especially in real time.
