OK so here is the final chair scene, rendered with TS7.1 and LW with HDRI. Added a slight blur to the image to soften the overall image and then blurred the forground to make to focus the viewer on the 2 red chairs in the background.
For all of you that commented on this thread (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=1495) Thanks a bunch.
Comments always welcome. |

What? No complimentary bowl of popcorn?
Have the waitress bring us an ashtray, too!
What kind of high-class joint is this, anyway?
I know the DOF is centered on the chair models, but my inability to focus on the table in front of me is making me think I've been sitting here with the wine glass too long.
In other words, the DOF effect might be a little too strong.
Still, a nice image. |

Great work Dave. But I'm glad I don't drink, I wouldn't be able to balance on those stools after I'd had a few :) |

Thanks Guys,
Madmouse, this is why I usually stand at the bar, when I fall down, I have had enough, time to go home.
spacekdet you may be right, maybe be a bit blurry, I tend to over state the DOF, I tend to work late at night and maybe my vision isn't quite so good. ;) with this one I have reduced it quite a bit. |

Well it's been a very long time since I've been in a bar (though I'll confess I had a beer last weekend). A great shot here mate thougha little ...antiseptic? A few beer rings on the table might help that but if you're going for a very tidy bar scene then you've pretty much nailed it - well done. |
