Hi all,

I'm 13, and about a year ago I made a Lego Star Wars movie about a jedi coming to the Death Star to kill a sith lord. Unfortunately, the actual movie is 2 min. long and I'm not sure if i can compress and break it up enough to post on the forum :( . Anyway, here are some pictures from the movie. Wondering what you guys think :)

P.S. The lightsabers were made using the Coolpowers 4 plugin

The stills look good, I'd like to see the whole thing (being a fan of the Lego Star Wars game and all).

What about posting the video on YouTube or similar, and just posting a link to it from the forums here?

I hope you do find some solution to sharing, as it looks interesting!

Thanks!

Tom

Nice work, Corbly!

Wow, only 13. I was doing stop-motion animation for fun when I was that old and I remember thinking how young I was ... but now I'm 25 and I think "Hey, I'm 25 and have never really done a 'complete' animation."

LOL! So yeah - that's just some encouragement for you to keep on with it - time goes by quickly.

Again, good work so far! One thing I notice in your avatar and on some of the pictures is that you have the arms and legs swinging in the same direction on each side. (ie. Right leg and right arm are both swinging forward, while left leg and left arm are both behind) When the right leg is forward, the right arm should be back, etc. It's one of those things that's easy to overlook but it's how we humans walk and keep in balance. Hope that helps!

Thanks for sharing your work! :)

Thanks for the information about the arm swinging. I always have though otherwise, but when I just walk normally, I do have the right arm back when the right leg is forward. :)

P.S. Just changed my avatar and it does look much more realisic. Thanks for the great advise.
