Hi all,

Well I've finally finished my toilet scene. Anyone guess a tin of curry??? No I didn't think so ;)

The inspiration for this image came from a TV add that has been running in the UK recently. The Add features a singing & dancing tin of baked beans, made in CGI. It got me wondering if I'd be so happy with a belly full of flatulence making baked beans. Then it occurred to me that maybe baked beans weren't the worst thing to be stuffed full of. And ha-presto the idea for this scene was born.

Rendered in TS7.11 with a little post work on the steam, smoke and sweat in PSP.

I hope you like the end result. All comments are, as always, most welcome.

Awesome Steve, your right didn't see that one coming, great details. I love the text one the label, funny! Poor can guy must have had to really work to jump up. Did you model the can as we see it or did you use bones or any sort of deforming?

Outstanding!

This needs to be put into print. Ideal for a poster. I can see it in restaurant and pub toilets. You should contact a few poster companies.

I was going to post several images this months, but thinking twice now. Must be a winner.

Very well done, Mad Mouse! I'll admit that when I first saw the toilet I was fearful of what you might put on it, but that works great.

I darn near literally fell out of my chair laughing at this one. :)
You, sir, have a very deviant and twisted imagination. Please don't ever change :)

Must have been a vindaloo that put him in the loo! I really like but I thought a bit of an orange glow inside the can itself lighting up the tin's top from the inside might really help to sell the heat idea. Pehaps adding a bit of orange to the lighting around the top of the head as well.

Having looked at this image for a while Steve, my only comment is with the highlight running down the corner of the tank, I would break it up a bit like the image I have attached really draws attention to it and it doesn't need to.

Thanks for all the extremely kind comment guys. It means a lot.

The arms and legs are actually poser models. I could of modelled them but I was feeling a little lazy and until the bones improve (in TS 7.5 hopefully) I tend to stay away from rigging in TS.

I like it hot! Never heard of Curry but I pity the poor fool.....

Dude you've got to be kidding me!!! google up you local curry shop and get stuck in ;)

Its a good idea, and something similar did cross my mind. But I thought it might of been a bit distracting from the main focus of the image.

Hummmm I think your right Dave. I'll have a play before I go to the final print version. Thanks

Thanks again guys

Funny, crisp, well rounded image. Looks like that toilet in Trainspotting. Yikes

Reminds me of a mate of my uncle's who used to say; "Went out for a curry last night and now I've got a Dino"

"Dino?"

It's good to know, I'm not the only one who improvises to get a project done. :D

Yeah, my inspiration was dampened when I got back to work after summer and I also had to do a lot of travelling....

but Xmas vacation is coming up, so we'll see :D

( I've already switched my desktop image back to triBeast to check everything that needs to be improved ;) )
