Very cool picture Steinie. I like the stylized look to the hair and beard... makes it look more like an ornament.
For my own submission (at least, for now) I'm going to cheat a little bit and post a picture I did for Christmas last year... taking all-inclusiveness to new extremes....

Looks good Morgan. I like those C7 bulbs at the top, they use tons of electricity!!!
So everyone else in a Humbug mood....? Beginners welcome....model of candy canes?...ribbon...string....a line...a 2D line.....?
If I said PS is allowed......?;)
No prizes or gifts are being awarded. Just the thought of entertaining all the little Steinies in the World! Isn't that enough?! |

Alas I am not always so cheery and I always post this one as a 'sobering' antidote to the sugar coated Xmas we are offered. Remember, not everyone is so lucky to live the Coca Cola vision of the festive season. Happy Xmas to you all...:D |

Splinters, I have always loved that image, it's practically perfect. Certainly seems to be in need of a Coke, so long as it isn't this one:

Holy wow, that last Pepe Poster is incredible!
And those TruePlay avatars at least look to have good careers as N*Sync's backup vocalists... |

Not really...it is just a mock-up using the real poster. I am slowly working on building it from scratch though... |

Ah! So this is the thread where last years seasonal greetings come to reminisce about times gone by - sort of like an Old Folks Home for Hallmark cards!!
Here's one of mine - thanks to Forester for the original photo. Snowpeople, snow cat and lamp post are mine, tS 5.1.
Oh yeah - and Seasons Greetings and best wishes to all!
Stephen

I was also taken back by his math skills..."mid winter" that would mean First day of Winter is the 21 and the last day of Winter would be the 29th! I like Your Winters!!!;)
p.s. the cat is awesome! I bet you two aren't that pudgy....:D
Brian I liked your trees, they look like upside down ice cream cones. Yum.
E-graffiti, even your early works look good.
Wigand, nice to know your other renderings look like jewels too. Beautiful tree!
Jamesmc, cool reindeer and is that you behind the beard?:)
Spacekdet, that is the perfect cabin!
Rotcorp, cracked me up. The two eyes says it all!
WickedWitch, you've been looking in my window after Christmas dinner!
Splinters, you captured the feelings of those less fortunate, Hope and Need.
I want to thank you all for the great renderings. Nice to see we use TS for our relatives too. Keep them coming if you got any.... |
