The glass shader is already set all the way to white. The options for making the glass lighter are to reduce the weight, reduce the angle, or add some diffusion. I opted to reduce the weight.
The leaves are curved. They are created with a map and alpha but I used soft-selection to add some curve to each leaf and the leave section. I think the angle is making them flat.
Heidi.. i think now its on the right way!! :jumpy:

To make the glass lighter, make sure that diffusion is set at or near 0. |

Just beutiful, that glass just so good, but I kind of miss some shadows anyway...?
Allmost like going back to your first picture, is there a way to do highlights and still keep some of the shadows...
Sorry, don't mean to be hard on you, I would love to print this one out and put on my kids room ;)
Keep up the good work!

Thanks :)
On bringing back some of the shadows, I have iPak... so I can do some adjustments that way. Or by png'ing a mask and layering in some of the shadows from one of the prior renders.
Unfortunately, my computer did a major crash on me last night and I haven't been able to bring it back online yet (I'm typing this from my work laptop). It's looking like I may have to do a reinstallation of XP. :( |

I finally got my computer back online last night. A new power supply and replacing a corrupted system file solved the problem (finally).
No data loss, thank goodness (I run a RAID array for data redundancy with a separate HD for my system and application files). |
