I like it a lot, though I think the slight kink on those sticking out things looks a bit out-of-place. |

I also like what you did. Part of the flower is too dark in my opinion...but not by much! |

It looks great, but I agree with Steinie, it's too dark.
Is it intentional or is your monitor set to bright ?
(only asking because that's happened to me, I've made a lot of dark images:rolleyes: ) |

Thanks guys for your comments, looks liek I need to have a bit more of a look at this, I have an LCD monitor and although I can adjust the brightness and contrast there seems to be very little difference. The image is quite dark yes, I did want it dark, but not dark so no-one can see it heh, Also I think ill leave out the cable on the right, I think it takes away from the image, update soon |

I love it! What shader settings did you use? I've yet to get glass that good! |

I used the standard glass shader, no changes were made heh laziness I guess but the results were perfect
I guess its more about the HDRI map used |

Brilliant! I love the visual gag in this - light bulbs/flower bulbs. That's quite a bright idea. I love the texture on the flowers too |

This is beautiful work Matski! You do glass and metal really well. :D
I was going to suggest giving the glass something to reflect and adding some specular highlights, but I see you've already done it. :o
Definitely one for the portfolio/gallery!

Great image, glad you lost the cable as I found that distracting in the first version. The reflections really help too - would be interested to see what that HDRI image looks like - is it just a series of windows?
Classy job... |
