It came to me that most of my submitted pictures never made it to the public, so I'm putting them here for you to enjoy.

These first two are to of the three that I submitted one month. Got an honerable mention on the "Watcher in the Belltower"

It was an exersize in setting a spooky scene of a protective spirit.

Hey Kena I like these. I especially like the cactus. Thematically intriguing, with that puddle of water and a tap so close by. And that little cobweb is a great touch as is the varying heights of the nails in the bench. Interesting stuff here.....

Thank you. Not too bad concidering that I was such a raw hand that even through I've had TS since version 2, that was the first picture I ever submitted.

The cobwebs were done using cilindars, and the cactus was squashed spheres.

I was going thrrough a bell phase... I wanted to see how many types I could come up with in a week, then needed something to put them with :D

OK - W.I.P. complete - here is this month's picture submission. It's very rare for me to have more than one submission per month as I tend to work a bit slow.

Thanks to Birdnest, W!ZARD, mrbones, TheWickedWitchOfTheWeb, Jack Edwards, MadMouse, Methusela and Nez for all your opinions and suggestions during the process. Your help on ascetics and later your tweek suggestions helped make this my best one yet, I think.

Well... this one is not a submitted picture, but I spent enough time on it to learn some of the ins and outs of Vray that I just wanted to share it with everyone.

To see how I came up with this final picture, you can check out the W.I.P at Larking About (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showthread.php?t=3097)

I think this came out nice in the end. Can't wait to see you're new works rendered in V-Ray. The image quality you will be able to achieve should be light years ahead of what could be readily done in Lightworks, and with less than half the effort. ;)

Hi kena,

You misunderstand me. I am the one with Carrara and use it at the moment to render, whereas I hope to soon start producing renders like yours in ts.

Still thinking what I can do with my 3D chess, I decided to let my mind wander and found that I could very easily figure out how to make gears.

So, since I have no Idea if I will make my chess for this month's contest, I decided to submit my wandering mind instead. :D And after all, don't we all eventually stack things just for the fun of it?

Thanks!

I've been playing with Apophysis and getting some good fractals. I found one that I really liked, and just spent 5 hours creating a DX9 Texture from it.

And here is the texture for you all to use.. Just don't go sell it anywhere ;)

I was hoping to have more this time around, but this one just took a bit longer than I thought. I just had to add one more thing, then one more thing, then readjust. hehehe
