I'm a TS6.6 user with limited ability who needs to come up with some stuff for a video that will be used in a trade show booth.

I would love to find a source of scenes that I can buy and edit. I'll be buying 7.5 in a day or two, in the hope of saving some time on developing this project.

Anyone know of any sources of scenes for sale?

Thanks,

None that I know of. Objects, yes but scenes?

You could look at the work produced in the forums then contact directly any artists/designers whose work you like. Alternatively you could commission a scene that you require.

What type of material are you looking for, I may be willing but knowing what you need would help.

The big question here is what kind of scenes?

Generally scenes are not available for sale as they are too specific. People usually sell objects, which can normally be transferred between different software, and of course can be used in any manner of ways.

More knowledge of what it is you plan on making would help people recommend how best to achieve it :)

HTH!

i think a lot of the people who post here would love that idea, me included. There is a section for business on these forums, you could try posting something there if you wanted, but seen as this thread is already up you might not need to bother.

Your best bet would be to explain exactly what you want, maybe with diagrams or similar examples. Post it in the business section with a guide to what you want to pay (max?) and any particular engine (LW, Vray, VL) you are going to use. If you want to play around with it yourself then you will need to ensure you get the format that will match your setup (no point getting a Vray based scene if you don't have Vray yourself to render it out.

Check out the folio of work of any people that offer work...if their work is of a professional standard they will probably have a website, online portfolio etc. etc.

Just like any other tender, you choose the best product for the best price...but not always the cheapest...:D

As has been said before, all these are reasons why you can rarely buy scenes (although I just posted one for free)...just objects.

Right now, I'm not exactly sure. Over the next week or two I'll be developing a storyboard and underlying message. So, my post is a bit premature in that I've been attempting to determine if purchasing a scene is even possible.

There have been a number of great suggestions, so I thank all who took the time to reply.
