LOL! That definitely deserves a couple of bananas!

The punchline was well worth the wait Bob. I certainly never saw it coming - I was sure you would have some grumpy crew members forcing your pirate to walk the plank for some heinous transgression of pirate ettiquette! It never occured to me that he was out there fishing!

Well done sir - and I love the rigging and the plank textures are perfect as they are.

Now, pat yourself on the back for a job well done and get started on the next Steinie masterpiece;)

Really nice characters Steinie, one of the more creative works I've seen here recently. I'd love to see them animated.

Methusela and Graysho thanks for the compliments. Looking forward to 7.5 so that I (and all of you) can stick those bones in these characters and breath life into them!
Madmouse, W!zard and Spacekdet you all deserve one big fish slap (sort of a Pirate's high five) for helping me along on this one. There were moments when I wanted to abandon ship (just kidding). To raise the bar in quality here we all need those tough critiques. It definitely improved this render from where it started.
WWitch, I plan on giving your little bird a ride on the boat! Does he/she water ski?:)
Spacekdet, the wood grain was fixed just for you! (and to hide my stupid idea of wood strength when going the wrong direction)
WeaverIBM, thanks for saying carp instead of cra* :D I'm glad you like it too!

W!zard about that next piece I need to start working on?.....
I hear the Circus is coming to Steinieville;)

Bird is excited and is rooting around in the library for his wet-suit as I type!
