Here's the render from my speed model challenge entry, comments and crits are of course welcome!

I'm thinking about expanding on this and turning it into sort of a bar scene. So there may be some more renders coming if I get some time to work on it. ;)

That's excellent. Really nice lighting.

Is that a vray render, it's very realistic?

Thanks Transient :)

It's a VRay GI render.

I left out the opposite wall and bounced an infinite light off the floor. The blurred reflections are the glossy shader. Each of the fans had a spot light as well.

I still ended up having to up the first bounce value to 4.8 to get enough light though.

Primary GI is Irradiance, Secondary is Lightmap.

Shadows are at .9 size and 300 samples.

I raised Hemisamples to 50 and QMC Depth to 8.

The brick texture is from Mayang's Free Textures:

There are no dust bunnies- it's obviously CG!
On a more serious note, the ceiling escutcheon (now there's a $2 word!) seems too...dainty?

Escutcheon on the ceiling? I've only had them in the shell...$2.00 each!

Thanks guys. :D

Suppose I could've made the flange at the top a little larger... but about the dust bunnies...I think they'd be a bit to hard to model..... maybe it needs hair.... :p :D
