I was playing with TS7.5's Hair and accidentally rendered a head in Vray without setting the antialias options on. It looked like frozen hair without the antialias, which led to this rendering idea for a symbol of "Death."

LOL - Icy you were the first to reply! [crowd goes silent]

Well, I guess it'll be tough to follow that one....

Anyway, awesome effect! You could almost walk up and snap off a strand of her hair to use for a tooth pick. :)

It does have a frosty kind of look. Pretty good when things just seem to go right one day. :D

Cheers

Thanks Mike,

...yeah, since things tend to go wrong for me 99 percent of the time I just couldn't let this one cool accident slip by when it presented itself! ;)

I probably should have made a sweater for her though, huh? Naahhh.... :D

Cool image ;) Love it when the "happy accident" produces a great piece of work.

Thanks Shike!

Here in Arizona it sometimes gets into the 116 Degree level for a few days at a time, so having lived many years in New England prior to moving here I tend to appreciate the cold weather there more and more as the years pass. I remember spending an entire weekend just photographing a wooded area there after an icestorm, and although all my photos from that shoot were stolen along with the negatives it was that same cyan-colored glow I recall which I was hoping to reproduce with this image. It kinda worked, looks close enough anyway in the icecube mountains.;)

Hi E-graffiti,

I'm always looking for those "happy accidents" when I make images! Unfortunately they don't always happen, but yeah, it is nice when they do!

Thanks,
