I'm starting this thread so that people interested in the Cartooning aspect of TrueSpace can come and share their works. No 2D works please!
(Not the right site for that)
If you have questions about this end of the business feel free to ask.
Rule one: For every rendering you post there has to be a caption.
(Doesn't have to be funny)
Rule two: No serious stuff unless it's a political cartoon.
Rule three: No rendering larger then 800x600 allowed
Rule four: Please leave comments in the Cartoon Corner Comment thread to avoid clutter.

Another Point of View
After finishing "Fly Away (http://forums1.caligari.com/truespace/showpost.php?p=41805&postcount=4)" there was an extra Fly that wasn't used and I figured...why not use him?! This Rendering is from His viewpoint as he watches his sweetheart's (he knew her since she was a Maggot) final demise. |

I realised I could turn it into a variation on the creakingly-old joke "What's worse than finding a maggot in your apple? ... Finding half a maggot!" ..but with a twist :D

Figured it would just be more expedient to have "Your Cause" cereal boxes rather than this cereal sponsors such and such. Two topics demonstrated here: Mayan Culture and Global Warming. :D

these pictures i did for a flash adventure game, unfortunately when i switched to Vista, the cartoon shaders wouldn't work for some reason

Hey I must of copied your ideas!;)
Your two scenes look fantastic. I like how you avoided straight lines as if capturing the shot with a low mm camera lens. I hope you stick around, I see talent in these renderings and would like to see more of your work.

the scenes where inspired by Monkey Island 4 and where for a remake of a classic AGS game called Night of the Hermit but when it came impossible to render them i spat my dummy and gave up lol, i now have my PC dual booting XP so there will be new stuff coming soon
even the floor and ceiling are curved, i'll see if i can find the other scenes, I really struggled with lighting tho.
