So I may or may not come back to this.

This was made almost entirely in the Workspace side, I had to use a few tools in the Model side for the blood vessel.

Also you can probably tell, but this is taken as a screenshot from the Workspace with bloom and super sampling switched on. Its also the first time ive incorporated Deformation maps into my work.

Tell me what you guys think

It looks great so far, i'm always impressed by how good the workspace looks. Some sort of gradient might help, to give the impression of volume but then i'm not sure if that'd be right at this level if magnification.

I don't know if you wanted accuracy but it might be interesting to see the nuclei of the cells that make up the blood vessel walls through those vessel walls; eg:

and

(scroll down to "Colored scanning electron micrograph")

The nuclei (of the endothelial cells) are about 1.5-2 x as big as the red blood cells and look like the yolk of an egg - if the endothelial cell "egg" was flattened against the vessel wall.

Think about what?

I think of

- "..of one blood all nations.."

- Vitamin C to boost the immune defence system, more white blood cells,

- where's the fluid

And a lot more exciting stuff about blood!

Hi Matski. I think the blood cells look a little bit too Cylindrical. I would suggest rounding out those cylinder sides more. In fact, you may want to deform them more (what does a red blood cell look like anyway?)

Not really going for accuracy it was just a bit of a modelling exercise, didnt use any ref photos etc just my imagination, based on a little science heh

Well, just want crits and stuff about the composition colours, if anyone likes it is all, as an artist I guess for some strange reason I seek for comments and opinions about my work.
effectively blood upto a microscope reveals lots of single cells, so this picture was an attempt at viewing a blood vessel at a microscopic level revealing what blood is made of

here is a photo of red blood cells http://t3.pacific.edu/teams/M007305/red_blood_cells.jpg
interestingly the cells I made, started as flat cubes with SS and deformations heh.
I may come back to this, but at the moment I have no desire to
