Energy saving is today's concern for local communities.
Here is some renders of wood-energy boilers for small and middle-size towns.
Electricity for factory needs is produced by the photovoltaic roof.
On the first project, you will notice an eco-friendly energies information room, and a visitor circuit inside of the factory.

The challenge for the 3D artist is to turn that fat factory into a modern and pleasant building that fits in its environment. Not so easy...

Both designs were made in 4 days...

Wonderful job.

Great use of truespace. Good to see that there is some commercial work out there that does use the 'ususal suspects! like 3dstudio et al.

I'd love to have the opportunity to get involved in such work.

Nice job Emmanuel; not only the work, but also the subject matter: conservation.
May I ask how you were able to 'fade out' the roof in the render to see the inside?

Easy !

In the scene, there is one layer for the main walls and roof, and one layer for the interiors. I render in PSD file format, and use the Per Geometry Layer layer option.

Next, in Photoshop, I use the eraser to fade out the layer of the roof and see the layer below through it.

This is wonderful work Emmanuel, really great stuff. I'm mainly interested in architectural renderings (personal interest) and it's so good to see TS being used like this. It gives me inspiration to keep going. I particularly like seeing work that it is of genuine practical value to clients.

Thanks for showing us the project. More please! :)
