Sorry but Ralphy looks more like a Rachael. The figure and the legs are not masculine.:)
Welcome Rachael can I buy you a drink and a fly?.... |

Hiya Ralphy - Ralphy looks like a robofrog to me - very cool. He looks like an ideal character for animation. |

nothing wrong with a healthy obsession. as long as no one dates frogs, pigs or pointy hats, then we are ok. |

That is ok Improv I can take it.
I just got back doing Pilate's, Siddha Yoga and discovering my inner self with my Spiritual Leader "Myhandi Grandi" I want to know the meaning of life and the reason for my fascination with cosmetics...
However calling someone's Frog a girl could start Forum Wars!...sooooo maybe I missed the VERY masculine tad poll on the floor?:D |

He hehehe. Quite a thread here. I never thought my little guy would start such controversy. Yeah, he does have a froggy type head. I can't help it. I am a frog maniac. I suppose he's a little girly, that's ok.
Well I have him rigged in messiah and am in the process of rigging him in ts. I will make him available but he's being rigged in beta so I will release him when 7.6 is released.
Heres a little video of his rig movement in messiah. |

I keep planning to do one, but get sidetracked. When I do it will be for 7.6 so will have to wait for 7.6 release for it. I would like to do one from start to finish including morphs. I may charge a minimal fee for it, I don't know yet. If I do it will be cheap. It's a lot of work to make a fully featured tutorial. Would you guys pay like 15 bucks for a course? |

If you make a tutorial, make it a tadpole for we less capable modelers. :D |

hehehe, this model is just cylinder spheres and squares. Easily done. Took me longer to type all the names of the parts than to build it lol. But it would be good for the tutorial as you just place the joints on the spheres pretty much. easy to see where they go. |

I realise the 'Smash' comments have zoomed over some peoples heads. Obviously didn't notice that it was actually a link. So, in an attempt at being a little less subtle, click this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0YF_oNyQXE |

15$ or so is actually a very nice idea, community for community :D
Everyone buys and the one making the tutorial sees that people are happy and gets some, even if not large sums, who knows by the way ;)
It will incourage people doing all kinds of tutorials...
keep up all the good work 3DFrog!

Thanks folks
Here's ralphy's first walk. Not animated in ts, but ts rig coming soon. He is really a better model for truespace because he is kind of mechanical and his joints aren't supposed to deform, that does not fit in so well with messiah where everything is bendy. People have done some mechanical rigs in messiah but it is a little over my head right now. Where it is dead easy in truespace. |
