Been working on some shaders for Kerkythea actually a material pack

for everyone to download !

http://www.kerkythea.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=50940#50940

So I ended up at making a small city...well 1 house duplicated

to test those materials and they work out quite nicely !

If this doesnt convince some of you to try out the free standalone

Kerkythea.... nothing will !

The polygon count is pretty high and those glass planes are all

modeled and all textured with the mirrorglas material <(1 glass each pane..so there are a few - more the 100 but didnt count them )!

Render method is MLT bpt same as Maxwell and the others (unbiased)....

Given the fact that Kerky is free !!!!

I´m working modelling on whole cities as backdrops for my futuristic

photography (withz realy cute girls) so stay tuned !

Going to post this to the roundtable section too so that you can see

the thread about Kerythea again !;)

Nice one! - is the shader comprised of replicating images or is it some kind of procedural?

Those are physically accurate multi layered procedurals ..... !

Bottom layer glass and top layer reflective properties !

Its something I would love to get for Vray !;)

Am modeling whole cities at the moment with lots of skyscrapers

and houses and am into lighttesting .... thats one of the last tests I

made rendered in Vue with the ecosystem. The houses are mostly

low poly only under 100 poly each. The maps come from high poly houses

and the fronts were rendered (baked) to textures.

Just a first test to see if its going into the right directionand see what

detail would be seen:)

This is one of the high res meshes that was converted (baked) to a texture..

Peter, one of the things I'm noticing is that with the higher res models, you are getting a lot of moire artifacting. :(

Thank you Rich !

Jack you are right but I think that goes away as soon as I use

a higher aa setting which lets my render times grow !

But yes for the final shots I will be going into higher settings !
