Yeah, I suck at being consistent.
Now here's a new and a little better one from me. Considering my last attempt was terribly dense. I made another one, the rendering quality isn't exactly very good yet but I've made another Starfox Arwing.

I've modelled in 3DR, I've never done that before, it's never gone this fast!
But now I'd like to draw your attentions to this cockpit, it's going to be my generic piece for like...ever considering there's more textures than food on my plate at a one pass buffet.

Now onto other stuff. Has anybody heard of Battleships forever? I haven't, yet I did some requests and a 'Hestia' ship cropped up. For me, the cannon's pants but then, not my design.
The problem with this is. No one has ever seen a hestia in 3D before.
Dammit. Artistic liscence ahoy

Thanks chaps, I update it soon.
Which reminds me, I posted a help topic a while back about me losing starfield.tsx, well in my rant where my PC went down the tubes, I should've mentioned that I've lost it again, and the link I was given in the help topic has 404'd me. If anybody has it can they let me know, I, sort of need it (considering skyboxes are a real pain and they take too long to render and the stars are either to pixelated or too dense) |

One of the best apps I've found for doing starfields is called Celestia - it's free, it's an astronimy program that lets you fly all around not just the Solar System but a significant part of the local galaxy. You can use it like a flight sim for space men amoungst other things. You can also use it to identify planets in the sky as well as a source for reasonable quality space imagery. Goodle it and download it - it's not only brilliant fun it's also educational!
As another alternative I've attached a .cob object for you - it's a starfield - import it into your scene and resize it as required as a sphere that surrounds your scene.
It's a freebie I picked up many years ago and it does a reasonable job.
Hope This Helps |

As starfield.tsx was freeware before the CK site closed down, I don't think there should be any problem posting this.
Have never tried it out mind... |

Nez you are a lifesaver!
It's fully 3D by the way, so that means you can go past them, you should really try it. Combining it now with other stuff is fun, I've gone back to Simbiont Ts because I'm cheating, I render the simbiont as an image and then texture it to another object, so if I combine the black hole stuff with that and then add the stars, THEN combine it with LiveWire (It beats copying and pasting keyframes from YSflight I tell you (it is a little awkward at the moment though))
W!zard. I'll give both those files a try, cheers
I'm so happy, so happy I should probably update this topic with artwork |

And here are the updates
(I read my last message, oof, rambling or what)
Anyway, the last audience of this model really liked it, it's the StarFox landmaster

I shall not blaspheme. But, that shader was in Maya 7. Then imported and a top, side front image into Truespace. The lightning wasn't, and was a pain. |

Of course, it's locked up because me and my brother had this really long network cable, said what the hell and Maya started ringing alarm bells. Geez. Touchy or what (subliminally complimenting Caligari there) |
