I was drawing a scribble of a desert island when I was on the phone waiting to unlock my mobile... and thought it was a cool idea for truespace. I dont know much about the program because i havent had it long...so its not that impressive but i had to show someone lol.

Agreed, far better than my first attempts.


Now, use the experience here to accelerate your skiils faster than us 'oldies' were able to.


Here's a tip. Find a sunset type HDRI (or use the second one from the HDRI library, not the kitchen. Or use any picture of a sunset) and try rendering again. A cartoony image instantly (with a few tweaks) can become photorealistic. It is the nearest we have to a 'render perfect' button...:D

for sure a good start. You may howerver want to adjust the light on the front of the house. Based on your sun, the front of the house should be darker than it is.
