Here is something I have been working on the last week or two in my spare time(still working on "Valiant Black", it is not doomed...lol). She has no hair yet, I'm looking for ideas, as far as style and color...ignore the texture seams and lazy eye....

I was also planning on selling this(not in it's current state), both rigged and not...so pricing ideas are welcome as well

Odd, I can see it from another workstation....you should be able to see it, otherwise it's an issue with your station.

Can someone else test this? I have seen it from two different stations on different connections and I see it, but Rayman is a dependable guy and I trust he is not just making this up.

it works on firefox, but not ie. Nice figure model! I don't know how much you wanna price it if you're gonna sell it. It's a quality model but I think a moderate price is nice. Like 20 - 30 bucks or so then just hope to sell a bunch of them. I can't judge any pricing from my site yet because there is really not much there yet ;).

That is where it is headed, 20-30 seems ok for a rigged model, but I would charge less for non-rigged(how much??). Also to note is that the cloth is static for tS ATM...I thought it would be nice to have it preset though for the 7.6 release.

Also...3dfrog is correct as far as ie and firefox are concerned.

non rigged maybe 10 bucks I guess, that seems really cheap but I think you'd sell more at that price. Personally for my models, I am gonna make them real cheap and hope to sell a few. I want people to have access them but its nice to have compensation for work. I will make a lot of free stuff too. I have seen on turbosquid some decent low poly human models sold in packs for cheap, like 20 bucks for one model or 100 bucks for 10 or 12 models or something. i bet they sell a bunch of those.

I'm on firefox, and I can see both just fine.

To answer your question on hairstyle... Given her name, maybe bald. Very sexy that way. :D

She looks good to me Nowherebrain. I really like the dress design too. Is the clothing separate from the model?

The clothing is a separate model, but will be included. If she will be bald I would like some tattooing done on her.. I've been working on the hair, nothing to show yet.

Thank you, not to start rumors here, but this should be what you can look forward to doing in 7.6...and kinda the reason I started this project.

LOL...she is not naked(that is up to the end user to paint on if desired), if the cloth was gone there would be only skin.."lacking definition".

Well H.Bells, I've had lots of women lacking definition, that wouldn't be new.

Great model Nowherebrain. And I love the dress. Seeing that flutter slightly in a cool breeze in tS 7.6 is gonna be simply awesome. Just wish I could afford it.

Oh well, gotta go, I've a grandmother to put on ebay. :D :D :D

thanks again, and how much for granny??? I'm working on hair implemented as poly mapped alpha instead of strands, I feel it will be more effective across different packages, using cloth physics instead of strand or particle.

She looks great Nowherebrain! I think you're selling yourself short. With a nice UV map this model is easily $30-$50, rigging and (quality) animation would bump it up into the $100 range.

Have you done any deform testing to make sure the geometry deforms well?

If you're looking to price it to move, then you could price the unrigged version at $29 and the animated version at $49.

sounds good. I don't think I can sell a model for $100, rigged or not..it's easy to add a bunch of detail with a bunch of poly's, but that is not the point really. So I will probably put an image with "WIP" hair tonight...just a test and feel for direction, I have a few ideas, but I always like to hear from everyone.
