So many problems.... -.-
For those of you who remember me jumping up and down asking for help...things panned out a bit. Started in September and we've now just come out the other side with my first character or "organic" model. Hope it paid off.
Serious problems after some serious problems and set backs. Modelling issues, I went through dunno how many body builds, had to reverse progress on the head a few times, rigging still isn't perfect, I think the only thing that seemed to have no problems were her clothes! I haven't told him this yet but when schattendorn said "could you make her?" I actually didn't think I would get this far as organic models are well out of my leauge at the moment. So it was a good thing he was there breathing down my neck the whole time or else I'd still be there until the cows come home getting it right.
Hope you like http://arwinglanding.net/forum/Smileys/default/wink.gif

That's very cool! One thing though - now you have to stop saying you can't make organic models, they are out of your reach etc. The evidence says otherwise!
Thanks!

Well, can't see as I'll be competing with Madmouse anytime soon, anything can be done with enough time
Thanks |

Nice job! I love the character. I'm not sure I want to know how long it took to do the rigging and weight painting though. :) |

Ho ho, even worse in TS 6.6 Heidi, no weight painting, just muscles and tendons (which I dunno how to work :()
Speaking of "Not right"...I did another tweak so the gun looks in a better hold, and also I did a beauty render of the gun that caused so much trouble

To save spamming the image gallery with another thread, I ran across prodigy's grass tutorial, and twisted it about a bit.
I used two particle generators with this, one generator had longer grass, and the emmitter had a hole cut in it that was roughly the same shape as the gun, so grass didn't grow through it.
Then because I actually had the maximum number of particles used, and that wasn't enough, I made a second generator with shorter grass, and offset it to fill in the holes.
Daisies were hand made from 2 cylindersa nad a sphere
As always, made in Truespace 6.6
